Successful in God's Eyes !!!

"Watch over your heart with all diligence, for from it flow the springs of life" - Proverbs 4:23.

 

Our culture is obsessed with success!

 

We are obsessed not only with our own personal success-

- but we may be even more obsessed with providing our children with the tools they need to become successful. 

 

We all want to do our best!

 

But a lot of times-

- there's confusion about what real success is. 

 

There's a nebulous understanding that-

- success means that our child will one day get a good education, have a good job, a good family and be good citizen. 

 

But-

That is a very short-sighted view!!!

 

It's not much success-

- if our children grow up to have worldly success for fifty years-

- and then spend eternity in hell. 

 

That's a temporary success-

- but an eternal failure!

 

In God's eyes-

- success means discovering His will for your life, 

- and using that purpose for the glory of God, 

- not for the glory of self. 

 

We must see that big picture when we help our children become truly successful. 

 

When a child grows to understand that-

- then the child has a far greater chance of experiencing real, lasting success, 

- for they will be successful in God's eyes.

STEP OUT TEAM - Update

We are delighted to have two of our friends join the team to help us spread the good news of the Gospel; Total number of people in the Step-Out team are seven. Praise God!
We praise God for the gentle man who showed a lot of interest in Evangelism and encouraged the work that we do in the name of the Lord.
Although, we don't always get the results we wish we got out of tracts distribution, we had the privilege to speak to another gentle man about Jesus. By, God's grace we had the privilege to see him a second time and he accepted our gift of a book 'Steps To Christ' and another Gospel tract. Please keep him in your prayers.
While those were the highlights, we pray that the Lord strengthens us to not fear or hesitate while we do His work...
Annaliza bravely went forward to drop a tract into a pub's mail slot after a lot of hesitation shown by us all. However, when a man ran out shouting 'WHAT DO YOU THINK YOU'RE DOING?', we ran as far as we could. We were glad and thanked God for the fact that the man was joking.
We've had ups, but we've certainly had downs too, but we praise God that we are able to do this for Him and we pray that He works miracles in the hearts of those we meet.
